I'm not overly familiar with her pre-Baylor career, but my understanding is that she played a year at Tennessee, sat a year with injury, then sat a year to transfer at USCe before playing the last 2 seasons. If that is the case, I don't think she would be eligible for a 6th year if she wanted it. A 6th year is usually only given to players who suffer two full season injuries. Te'a chose to leave Tennessee knowing she would have to sit an extra year, so she won't get that one back. If she had stayed at Tennessee, she would've been able to complete her eligibility normally. Does anyone know if she applied for a waiver to play at South Carolina that first year?
Oh, just apply for a waiver anyway. Maybe they'll change the rules if they wake up in a good mood.
Evidently, UCONN doesn't really have a good defensive answer for her as she torched them at Storrs for South Carolina last year as well.
They DONT look alike. Good lord people!! Thats like saying LeBron and Steph Curry look alike. What are the similarities other then Tea and Rae being black females?
Nope games are not similar at all.I haven't seen Tennessee play yet, but I took OP's comment to mean their games are similar. If the players look very dissimilar, would seem to be an indication that the sports fan on the sports forum was talking about sports rather than THAT'S RACIST!!

Fair enough.OK, OK
!. I'm old (pretty old), young 80
2. They don't actually, physically look alike, not at all....true enough
What I was attempting to communicate (pardon the inexactitude of my prose) is that the young, inexperienced UTenn kid
is capable (on occasion) of delivering big time hurts as Ms Cooper did to a surprised UConn team and fan base
And I've wondered (to myself and colleagues on this board) why anyone should be surprised.
Swag is one word to use. Bounced is another. She was going to be Deshields sidekick coming out of HS, but that didn't exactly work out. Lots of talent. Mulkey said trying to teach her how to play point, make passes as soon as she spots open teammates. She played at TN and for Dawn at SC. What were they trying to teach her. At her size, and I think in HS she played point or at least had the ball in her hands most of the time what position did everyone think she would be? She is not a two guard at the next level unless a team takes a chance and a couple years to see if she can run point. With so few spots it maybe hard for her to get a foot in the WNBA door, and then again they find her a spot and let her abilities find her a place on the court.
is she even black... it may be her dominate trait but there may be something else in thereThey DONT look alike. Good lord people!! Thats like saying LeBron and Steph Curry look alike. What are the similarities other then Tea and Rae being black females?
Burrellis she even black... it may be her dominate trait but there may be something else in there

thats swag... similar to DT3I'll admit I was a Cooper hater to begin the season. I didnt have much faith I her off the court qualities.
But so far she seems to be a good fit for Baylor, and she does have a lot of talent. For the next level.
She is a little extra with her looks, but some of y'all are just old and have heart attacks
yeah... looks like something else is in there. Those braids don't mean anything... ask Lobo lolBurrell
