Players have been coached poorly, the forward pass and blocking a defender are described as "Lashlee comes up with plays that you've never seen before, and they blow your mind".

With largely the same roster (read talent) returning, this season may help determine the extent to which talent or coaching was the main problem during the BD years. I think we will see that there is (and was) enough talent on the roster to be competitive in the AAC and that unimaginative offensive scheming, an ultra conservative defensive philosophy and horrendous game day coaching decisions were the main problems the team faced during BD's tenure.

Can't wait to see the new look on both sides of the ball and a couple of punt returns for touchdowns.

Not gonna let all the smoke being blown up uno where cloud my vision. But the pedigree of the coaching staff has got to impress the players enough for them to keep their heads down and just keep working. So yeah, last year happened. But I doubt that this year will be that bad simply because the players are not gonna give up on the staff like last year. And what happens between the ears is at least 50% of it.
