TCU/Baylor and Friday Night Football

I'm aware that Friday nights are traditionally for high school football but for the rest of us fans not going to a high school game, this is great. Every sports bar will have this on and every bored football fan watches it. It's one of the few national broadcasts each week. You get a 30 minute pregame show which spends most of the time priviewing the game and players and it looks like you get a trophy sideline reporter too.

As for tonight's game, it should be a good one.

not really a fair comparison, that game was a snoozefest for three quarters. this has had two td's in 3 minutes of play. heckuvalot of tcu fans there.

3-tcu traveled real well across the state. 20k+ there?!?! the stands look split down the middle purple/yellow on tv. baylor ppl watching should feel like dump.

So TCU is going to come into the Big East and be unbeatable? This is Baylor. They will lose 5 games at least. Gotta love RGIII and Kendall Wright. nobody can touch them. TCU is being outclassed so far.

TCU won't be unbeatable. They've had teams in recent years that probably would have gone 12-0 in the Big East but I see them slotting in as another WVU type team.

Every few years they'll probably have a national title type team but most times they'll probably be in the 10-2 range. That doesn't mean they won't make the conference better, I just don't think that they'll maintain a top 10 every year type program based on dominance of the conference like some thought they would.
