Remember that time UConn football was ranked ahead of Bama, Clemson, Penn St, USC, Auburn & Florida?? It has been a long half-dozen years but just past the halfway point in 2017 I feel like HCRE has finally put 'rock bottom' behind us in Storrs and it feels great. I'm not sure they can say the same in Lincoln, NE though.

UVA, BC, USF, Cincy, and Mizzou... these teams were all ranked for at least a few weeks in 2007, and on our schedule in 2017.

USF & Cincy were/are our conference-mates. BC & UVA are easy to schedule games with. Mizzou was a big deal when the game was scheduled, but is nothing to write home about now.

Could you imagine 5 games against ranked teams in a season? That would be great. This just goes to show that the P5 is a sham... We don't need your stinking conferences to have a legit strength of schedule!
