Did anyone see this kid play today in the FCS Quarterfinals Old Dominion vs Georgia Southern?

This kid is a stud. Unbelievable speed, athletic ability, above average arm. He originally went to West Virginia and transferred to ODU.

Can Uconn please get on the phone and offer this kid? He's better then any QB on our depth chart right now. The kid has heart and he's a gamer. Something Uconn has lacked. I believe he is only a Sophomore.

I dunno maybe I'm exaggerating about this, but the kid could play.

I understand he wouldn't wanna transfer and sit out again. I'm just more frustrated that small schools seem to have better QBs then us every year. Especially in the MAC conference. Our QB recruiting has been awful. We will never be good again unless we can get something out of the QB position.

There is no telling how Whitmer would do behind ODU's offensive line, against ODU's competition and playing in ODU's offense. Its possible he would be racking up incredible numbers and you would be posting why Heinicke sucked as UCONN's QB and bellyaching that we couldn't get someone like Whitmer

Maybe your right about Whitmer at ODU. But Whitmer has NO WHERE near the athletic ability that Heinicke has. And Whitmer's arm is nothing to brag about.
