Seems pretty clear Tate will do time, but the question is how long? Sounds like a combination of bad intention and stupidity on his part and he's gonna have to face the music. His comment that he needs to hit another big shot is delusional.

I feel bad for Tate, but I think he got a little too big for his britches and now he is going to pay the price. As bad as I feel for him, I also feel for the people who trusted him and he in effect robbed. If he can't make restitution he needs to do a lot of time.
