Tarris Reed our most important player | The Boneyard

Tarris Reed our most important player

Surely a key player and board beast. Hoping for a quick recovery.
It was heartening to see the Freshman Reibe in the starting roll against BC. He provided great minutes and a different look. Alex also had a superior second half on the boards and looked much quicker than last season.

How big of a jump did Sanogo make before the 23 season? Trying to decide if Reed can be a version of that unstoppable force.

How about: we have no idea who our most important player is. There's no way we can evaluate that right now. Tarris is certainly very important. So are several other guys.

How about the staff saying that Tarris and Silas are the keys to season? I think that's a good start. And I also think it was madness to nitpick a exhibition game where they didn't play.

The team had 5 or 6 intra-squad scrimmages with people in the building and an exhibition game so far this summer/fall. Plus media availabilities, including Hurley's book tour media, Nardi and Tom Moore on SC Varsity, and Karaban on Kotler's show. On top of media like Rothstein and Greenberg at practice. There's actually been more to evaluate this team in the offseason than I can ever remember.

I'm not sure if Reed will be our leading scorer (he could be), but I do expect him to be our most important player.

I didn't nitpick the exhibition. Of course those two are keys. So are Alex and Solo and probably Mullins.

Agree to a point. Tarris staying healthy and on the floor with no foul trouble is a huge piece this year. 25-28 minutes a game is a key for our success no doubt but also having a PG who can impact both ends. I think we know Malachi is already very capable but if the 6’5 Silas is even better we just added another huge key to the season. I mean we went a whole season last year with a PG who was a 6th man and hurt to top it off. Despite that we were competitive so it’s exciting to think our back up PG is arguably better than last years starter so can’t wait to see Silas on the floor.

Having said all of that, our most important player on the floor can change most every game depending on match ups.

Personally I want a full recovery and will be willing to wait until we start playing BE games if necessary.
