I missed this on Friday and didn't see it posted on here. Nobody seems to care about these awards but we now have 3 players, Karaban and Ball also, recognized in the top 10 of their respective positions. Reed was also recently named to the Naismith Defensive Plyer of the Year Watch List. Doesn't seem he's as bad as some on here tell us.

UConn men's basketball big man Tarris Reed Jr. has been named to the Midseason Watch List for the Kareem Abdul Jabbar Center of the Year Award, as announced by the Naismith Hall of Fame on Friday (Feb. 6). The Hall of Fame announced the top 10 lists for each of its 'Starting Five' positional awards this week.

Reed Jr. joins teammates Solo Ball (West Award) and Alex Karaban (Malone Award) to give the Huskies three Midseason Top 10 picks, tied with Arizona for most among any program. UConn's three selections account for all but one of the BIG EAST's honorees.

I remember seeing it posted, but just as a tweet in another thread, not as its own.

Or perhaps the people that make these lists don’t really pay attention. I like Solo but is he really having a season in which he deserves to be listed as one of the best shooting guards in the country. And how on earth can Silas not be viewed as one of the top 10 point guards in the country?

.-.
Had he dominated Zuby, he might have had a chance. The way he played on Friday probably dropped him to the bottom of the List.

And the player who deserves to be on these lists didn’t make it. Sorry but it makes me think these lists are a joke.
I was gonna post the same thing. It's almost as if they named these at the beginning of the year but just decided to release them now.
