Not a better version per se but his footwork reminds me of Adama and he looks to be more athletic.

Whole staff should be indicted if a guy goes to your championship victory parade and doesn’t immediately commit.

They like what they’ve seen from him and think that any red flags were more coaching than skill. He’s also a perfect culture fit- which isn’t everything but is also not nothing.
