Absolutely wild to suggest he’s soft when reality is far more likely he was rushed back too soon from both the hamstring and ankle.

what also hurt last year was losing the guy who was becoming the focal point of our offense for 6 weeks with an injury when we were maybe starting to turn the corner. And his not being at full strength hurt our chances in March.

I think for better or for worse, there are guys who are not letting themselves be taken off the court. Even if that means they are hiding the injury and fighting through pain. Diarra was limping up and down the court a good portion of last season. I'm sure there are multiple people on the team right now how are also banged up and we just dont hear about it because complaining about it.

Despite it being Dec 2nd this is one of the few Q1 games they will have and way more important than just about all of our Big East games.

Did you see how ineffective he was against Illinois? Literally a shell of himself. He was laboring just getting up and down the court. Absolutely pointless for him to play tonight. I’ll go out on the proverbial limb and say that his minutes against Illinois set his full recovery back further.
