Alexander probably would've been preseason Big East POY, they obviously take a hit there.

No doubt, he was a great player but having watched Creighton so much the last 7 years they find a way to replace people. McDermott is a great coach. I'm a fan. We match up well with them because of how physical and ugly we make the game, that is not what Creighton wants at all.

Good news for UConn.

Why? McBride gives Vanderbilt much needed depth in the backcourt behind Pippin and Evans. This will give UConn more of a challenge than before and I really didn't want to play Vanderbilt in the first round, but I'll take any opportunity to increase the competition in that game.

not even close. a 3-2 start in the BE won't stop us from finishing 3rd or 4th overall but even finishing 6th means we're probably in the tourney... Creighton and PC are projected as 2 of the top 4 teams in the conference and NCSt and USC arent bad losses either.
