It happens, sometimes in big games. ND failed to hit a bucket for 7 1/2 minutes in the semi-final last year and missed 14 straight shots, though it wasn't at the end of a game. And that seemed to be a bit of a pattern for UConn's opponents in the tourney, since KY went more than 7 1/2 minutes without a FG while missing 11 straight shots plus a FT in the first half of that previous Elite 8 game.
