Give me your 3 LOCKS for today. BYU -12 was the pick of the weekend (look up the thread if you question me on this), but there are a few interesting games today.

Mine:

Wyoming +31.5 - Texas isn't that good and Wyoming isn't that bad for a spread of over 4 TD's. This spread should be 20 or 21, not 31.5.

Hawaii +42 - 6 TD's for Hawaii? Barkley will play a half in this game, and Hawaii will be better than last year with Chow's discipline and improved game coaching. USC romps but doesn't cover.

Nevada +11 - I like the Wolfpack to beat Cal outright. I don't think Cal is bad, but Nevada is very good this year. 11 points is way too much. This spread should be around 3 points, not 11.

I had Nevada too. USC could have named their score, Kiffin just let Chow off easy. For some reason Wyoming seems to give Texas trouble.

When I saw on gamecast that USC went for it on 4th and 2 from Hawaii's 30 with 4 minutes left in the 4th, I was wondering if Kiffin was giving the points. He was just looking to run out the clock though.

I think Texas goes 4-5 in the Big 12 this year. It is just an overrated team.

At this point it seems like their are 6-8 teams who are above the masses and any of the rest can lose to anyone. Turning into Any Given Saturday. The bottoms of the ACC, Big East and Big Ten are pure trash. Maryland, Syracuse, BC, Miami, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Wake - just all awful.

There were a lot of games getting attention that I wouldn't touch. Iowa/Northern Illinois, USM/Nebraska and Tulsa/Iowa State could have gone any direction.

I think it is too soon to see any big trends. Oklahoma is tied at halftime with UTEP, who will probably go 3-5 in CUSA. Stuff happens.
