Castle insurance? Room for both?

This guy looks like a combo guard and Castle should be one as well so would actually be a pretty good fit to play together

We need guards.

Newton/Alleyne graduate but can use their extra COVID year in 23/24.

Outside of them, Castle is the only guard on the roster (Jackson and Hawkins too but more wings than guards IMO). Regardless of his decision to reclass, it makes sense to bring in another PG for 23/24.

We desperately need guards right now and we'll need them the following year. I don't see why this is confusing.

We are strong at the 4/5 for the next few years.. Guards who get it will want to be in Storrs.

I think with the portal being just as important or arguably more important than high school recruiting and such a high percentage of guys changing programs, you're going to want to recruit more high schoolers at least to a minimal level than ever before because you might get them a year or two later through the portal. Cast a wider recruiting net... Relationship building is more important than ever before.

Haven’t seen in person. Chief still believes in the old fashion in person eye test.

Best shooting form and touch I've seen among the videos of recruits posted recently. He appeared to have pretty good court vision and anticipation too. Hard to judge his athleticism as the competition level didn't look to be the highest.
