Tailgate Menu for FAU Game...

Was up in Maine for work and brought home lobsters Friday night. CT style lobster rolls to start with cheesesteaks after. Wit Wiz and long hots.

Now I want a Publix key lime pie. When I would travel to FL on business I’d always sit in the hotel room plowing one down in bed after a night of drinking.

Steve's Key Lime Pies out of Brooklyn is the real deal. Steves Authentic Key Lime Pie | Always Fresh Squeezed I know they supply Peter Lugar. Used to be available at Stew Leonard's in Norwalk, but like everything else, eventually Stew ripped off the recipe and started to produce a similar product under his private label. Not as good as Steve's . Stew did the same thing with S & S Cheesecake out of the Bronx and its also inferior to the original.

Stew Leonards! "Home of the 12 Ounce Pound."

Grit cakes with barbecued creole shrimp
Steak and cheese dip
Baby back home smoked ribs
Grit cakes were a bit ambitious. Didn’t have side burner so tried to just fry them on the flattop instead of deep frying in 1/2” of oil in a skillet. Too fragile for that so they spread out too much. Still tasted good though. Other stuff friends brought were excellent. Found a key lime pie at Whole Foods at the last minute, thanks to this board. Very good!

.-.
I took one for the team and did some research on Publix Key Lime Pies. They do not list eggs as an ingredient.
