Tailgate for Virginia....

Virginia Ham & Egg sandwiches. (If I only had a Panini press we'd turn them into Cuban sandwiches.) Garden has been good-made refrigerator pickles, will make cole slaw from the cabbages, tomatoes finally ripening-so will have slices for the sandwiches & make fresh salsa with tomatoes -cherry peppers-habaneros. BEER. Bloody Marys.
Tailgate crew is meeting Wednesday P.M., so will finalize desserts & apps.

The wife got a BIG can of those. By the way, her name is Virginia & my father-in=law always called her "Gingerbread", so guess what else is supposed to be added to the menu.

scrambled Eggs, home fries, egg bake (eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, cheese, cut up baguette), buttermilk biscuits and sausage gravy, cinnamon rolls, donuts

We got some breakfast sandwiches going. Bacon egg and cheese on English muffin. Burgers go on at noon. Mimosas for the lady. Tree House for me. Go Huskies!!

Too late for today, but you if have a cast iron grill and press the sandwiches between you grill and the cast iron one. Instant sandwich press.

Plus the other side is good for sauteing onions and peppers, etc.
