It was that cross check. He's being held out for precautionary reasons.

A goal in an assist in today's game. Not bad.

The game against Canada in the four nations cup last year was something. But it was at night and I watched from sports bar. Not sure where I can go on a Sunday morning. Not the same at home.

From USA Today around 2PM ET.

MILAN — All signs point to Tage Thompson being good to go for the U.S. men's hockey team for the gold medal game.

The forward took part in USA's practice on Feb. 21, and appeared to be in good form.

"Tage skated today and he looked really strong out there," coach Mike Sullivan said.

Tied at 1 through 2 on a Cale Makar goal.

Canada is just dominating this game. U.S. can barely get the puck out of their own zone.

The pace has been insane. US looked tired in the 2nd half of the 3rd.

It wasn't just cold. It was a wind tunnel. I left a few times in the 1st period cause I couldn't stand it

The rink was cold but had beautiful ice. My dorm team was the Helter Skaters. Our few fans relied on brandy to try to stay warm. Great memories.
