It’s game day!

The USA men’s team will play Slovakia in the semifinals at 3:10 p.m. ET on Friday, Feb. 20. The bronze medal game is Feb. 21 and the gold medal game is Sunday, Feb. 22.

Finland took a high stick penalty at 2:35 to go. Going to be tough for Finland here.

McKinnon scores. 3-2 Canada. 35 seconds to go. Was hoping for Finland but Canada has outplayed them for the last 2 periods.

.-.
As a reminder (thanks Medic), the UConn women are playing Northeastern tonight at 5:30 on ESPNU, and the men are playing at BC at 7 on NESN.

2 quickies and all of a sudden it’s 4-0. Don’t blink.

Tage not on the bench to start the 3rd. Hmmmmm.

It was that cross check. He's being held out for precautionary reasons.

A goal in an assist in today's game. Not bad.

The game against Canada in the four nations cup last year was something. But it was at night and I watched from sports bar. Not sure where I can go on a Sunday morning. Not the same at home.

From USA Today around 2PM ET.

MILAN — All signs point to Tage Thompson being good to go for the U.S. men's hockey team for the gold medal game.

The forward took part in USA's practice on Feb. 21, and appeared to be in good form.

"Tage skated today and he looked really strong out there," coach Mike Sullivan said.

Tied at 1 through 2 on a Cale Makar goal.

Canada is just dominating this game. U.S. can barely get the puck out of their own zone.
