looks decent. not clumsy. i would be optimistic if i were a UCF fan
I like his potential. He's a kid that would benefit from taking some martial arts training to work on his footwork and balance, along with playing a lot of hoops to learn the game.

He'd look a lot better if he had guards that could get him the ball. Just seems he should be able to flash to a good spot in the paint and a teammate deliver him the ball high. As long as he learns to keep the ball high, it seems he should be able to score more. He did alter a lot of shots and could develop into a solid rim protector if he can learn to stay out of foul trouble and on the floor.

Seems like a real nice kid who's easy to root for.

UCF is almost a freak show between the girth of McBride and extreme height of Fall. One of the guys on the radio broadcast said Fall is one of the 40 tallest humans on the planet.
My buddy texted me during the first half saying watching UCF was like watching a freak show. They are some unique looking humans.

I mean, good god, how short did Nolan look guarding him on the block?
I laughed out load at one point in the game when there was a switch or double down play and Gibbs was trying to front Fall.... It must've looked like the pic someone posted of that similar giant from UC-something last year being guarded by the opposing player that came up to his waist.

If they had a good big man coach they could do some serious damage. Even Blair is huge. They define monsters, made our bigs look puny, except Enoch.

What really stands out about Fall is that he doesn't have that frail and brittle look that most players 7'3+ usually have.

Did I watch the same game? He was two feet taller than everyone else on the court and he got one more bucket than I did.

I hope it was shown on tv but Nolan was laughing when he was trying to guard him on a couple inbounds to in the beginning of the second half. He face was in his armpit. Was pretty funny to see.

I DVR'd the game and am watching it now. Fall is pretty coordinated and athletic for a 7' 6" guy. Other guys like Shaun Bradley and Manute Bol were painfully awkward at that size.

Manute Bol walked past me at the casino one time and he had the most unnatural way of walking I have ever seen. I can't even describe it.

Yeah, I saw that one. I guess he was remarking about his armpit smell. You know PN is a jokester.

He's not a finished product, but he blocked 3 shots in 14 minutes and altered a ton more. Thabeet may not have seemed like a future all-American if you watched him his freshman year.

Did you hear Tacko say, "Ya know, Phil. If you were one foot shorter..."?

Yep, like he was walking on broken glass or something. A walking skeleton. I remember when Bol played at the University of Bridgeport and I heard he was playing at Western CT State so I went to see him play. He was so un-athletic. All of his blocks and rebounds and dunks were because he was THERE. He just put his arms up and got the ball because no one else could reach it.

Bradley was a decent baseball player and far from akward. He was on an entirely different level than Bol or Fall.
