Interesting how the gym must shift when Senhor Ollie walks in. It used to be Calhoun but now Ollie is the big baller.

All those other teams sending assistants, while the new biggest name in college ball is coming himself. I wonder who Tyus will be most excited to see....

And he is visting the campus in May!

These kids that we have a legit shot at used to be like top 10-20 players at their position with the occasional top 5 player. Moving forward as long as we have KO I bet we're going to be in the running for top 1-10 players at their position. Just hope they stay around for longer than a year.

Because they stay, top 30 kids are usually better than top 10 kids, as long as you keep funneling them through. Sure, there's the occasional Anthony Davis, but I'd rather have the Kemba's and Shabazz's of the world.

Yep, i wouldn't mind a one and done here and there, just don't do it the Cal way or even the Duke or Kansas way. Don't cater to the kid like other programs do, make the kid do it the Uconn way 10 toes in.

Tyus is very highly rated for his class & someone you take no matter what. Interestingly, when I saw Tyus's father's name, Gary Battle, I had to look him up because I knew his name. Gary Battle has several ties to CT. Most notably, Gary was an All American Guard for the University of New Haven in the late 80's / early 90's and did play some pro basketball briefly (minors). Not sure this means much but Dad is familiar with CT & I'm sure UConn because he was starring at UNH back when UConn made it's mark on college basketball (ie. Dream Season).

I find it interesting that we sent our commander in chief while Cuse, UVA & Michigan each sent their versions of Joe Biden.
