I think you got that right, although Ice could be given the nod over Strong just in deference to her returner status. But will see Strong early, and perhaps more total time than Ice, as they will want to see her at both PF and wing. Jana not likely to be over-used, so Ice will get her time but many minuets available for KK and even Z and QPredicted starters for fort hays state:
BALL KNOWERS' POLL UConn vs Fort Hays State Starting 5 | StrawPoll
And it is interesting because there is a pretty clear consensus in the vote.
Shade, Chen, Paige, Strong, and El Alfy.
Apologies if this isn’t the right place to post this. Didn’t feel like it warranted a thread of its own though.
I see you’ve gone with a tall lineupPaige 10
Jana 10

Sarah 10

Maybe Chen over Shade, but even that’s iffy, over Sarah is a joke. Chen’s there to cover for Paige and that’s it.I see you’ve gone with a tall lineup
I went with Kaitlyn Chen over Sarah.![]()
What does "cover" for Paige mean?Maybe Chen over Shade, but even that’s iffy, over Sarah is a joke. Chen’s there to cover for Paige and that’s it.
I count 4 with Sarah.I'm not going to change my picks but, if you want to bet on a dark horse how about Ziebel? If she can shoot the 3 in a game like she did at first night Geno will be hard pressed not to have her on the floor. Paige, Azzi, and Ziebel? I've never seen a team that could put 3 shooters on the floor like that.
And if Caroline can come back?I'm not going to change my picks but, if you want to bet on a dark horse how about Ziebel? Ha nice try. After watching the Fort Hayes game, I'd like to change my #108 post with the following:
Paige 10
Shade 8
Strong 8
Brady 5
Chen 5
KK 5
Samuels 3
Jana 3
Ziebel 3

Only a 3 for Ziebel, I thought she was very good. Certainly better than Brady and Jana. Eight, two, and two for a frosh wasn’t too shabby. After watching the Fort Hayes game, I'd like to change my #108 post with the following:

10 to Bueckers, Chen, Brady, Strong, ShadeVariation on the age old question:
Unfortunately, for her, she's behind some pretty good players with her skills and she doesn't have the same attributes as Brady and Jana.Only a 3 for Ziebel, I thought she was very good. Certainly better than Brady and Jana. Eight, two, and two for a frosh wasn’t too shabby.
I might point out Qadence had 12 points, 6 RB’s, and 3 assists.FINAL TALLY (closed this am)

Unfortunately I think you’re just plain wrong and as the season progresses she will become one of Geno’s top players.Unfortunately, for her, she's behind some pretty good players with her skills and she doesn't have the same attributes as Brady and Jana.
This is all about starters for the first game of the season. I believe all players Geno recruits have the potential to be stars. And I believe that she will not be a disappointment. I didn't rate Caroline, Azzi, Aubrey and Ayanna at all because they are coming off injuries and have almost have no chance to start in the first game of the season, but they too could be top players as well.Unfortunately I think you’re just plain wrong and as the season progresses she will become one of Geno’s top players.
