Something also makes me feel that the FLA schools wanted no part of playing football in CT in October and November, while also playing in Boston every other year. I think the football program, at the time, was not a huge hindrance as it is now, but, wasn't like L'ville who was bigger and better and they received the last invite. The probation/Nate Miles and other little issues were a red flag but used more as a feigned reasoning by ACC powerbrokers. It sucks but when we boil down everything that has happened in college athletics I feel that Notre Dame had a lot to do with it - they are prima donnas and they really don't deserve all the gravitas that many afford them.
