We all joke but Buffalo's emergence could have very real, very detrimental effects on upstate New York's t-shirt empire. Folks may have to pack up and move their families from Syracuse to Buffalo to remain employed.

Cuse is in a better conference yes, just not better for most OBE teams. People forget that.

Cuse administration does not have the spine to boot Boeheim. After all the violations he's accumulated over the years, and the fact that he's still coaching with no worries, tells me as much.

As a pure coach, I completely agree. But with what Hurley has done in repairing an image on the trail and with the public is meaningful. Many coach's would struggle with this.

I think he was the right coach at the right time for us, in terms of overall health and repair of the program.
 
If you’re cuse do you let Oats leave without making him an offer? That seems like a bad idea.

I don't care what our Syracuse win 'means.' I hate Syracuse. All I want is for them to lose to use and to everyone else. Relentlessly. I hope our win is worthless at the end of the year and that whole program gets shot into the sun.
 
Cuse fans are insipid and beyond reasonable
I also hope that Cuse loses every game left this season and the Picker hones his picking skill on that Cuse sideline for numerous years to come
 
I don’t even dislike the team as much as I dislike their fans. They literally lose whatever smarts they have when they talk cuse ball. It’s infuriating arguing with people who just doesn’t get “it” and those people are Syracuse fans.

Oats just got a contract extension that goes through 2023......and he's only making 600k plus incentives.

He'll command 4mil+ on the open market.

Nate Oats is confident and he doesn’t “relax a little.” It’s not in him. He said the same type of stuff last year after beating AZ.

They’re clearly a better team than Cuse, so why is it crazy that he thinks his guys are better players? I don’t see the logic.
 
I live in Rochester New York so EVERYONE around me is a fan of Syracuse, Never liked them, never got the Boeheim love. The guy was never the legend people make him out to be. I still think the NCAA didn't have the heart to take away his one championship and that he was cooking the books for Anthony. He never was in JC's class. Nothing I like more than to see us out preform them!
