changed my mid ... GO CUSE. Want Big East to thrive .. and right now its this year.
 
Good Lord, NW's pass coverage is horrid. Nassib just has to lob it up and it's a catch.

They want players to wear their helmets in a fashion that keeps them from flying off constantly. It isn't a speed of game issue.

NW just scored a TD to tie it up with 34 seconds to go. Hope the extra point is good! Love to see SU lose.
 
NW caught a break with the late hit call OB - that was tic-tac. (Not that I feel bad about it at all.)

Not really, he could've very easily just run him out of bounds. The fact that it was a QB gives NW even more leeway there. It is a typical call, even if not one we really like.

Yep, gave him a good strong shove. Not terribly malicious, but like I said, it was a QB and they've been calling it that way for a few years now.

He had his hand on him as he took his last step in bounds though. Sure he was stupid for doing it at all so I don't feel like it's a travesty but I don't think the ref should have thrown the flag. The NW QB sold it with an acting job I think.
 
Well, the late hit call will give the Cuse board another reason to implode. :rolleyes:
 
I admit to being a little giddy with the final score, but that was a horrible late hit penalty......and horrible defense by exCuse on that last drive.
 
Marrone should have put Nassib on defense as well. I mean, that team has so few BCS caliber athletes it would not have hurt.

That was an awful call that most likely changed the outcome of the game.

I feel so badly for them.
 
The former Eastern independents have really good teams... Syracuse, Boston College, Miami and Penn State all completely suck. Miami might be the worst of the lot.

That is funny Biz-understated and well played! Strange that SU has an opening game impacted by a HORRIBLE call late. That hasn't happened in like, a whole year.
 
Syracuse fans will now forget 20+ pages of trashing players and coaches and put the blame for the game solely on the ref that threw that flag.
