And 63% from three, on 16 attempts. That. Is. Why. UConn. Lost.

I was just coming here to ask what they shot. UConn played well today. Played with a lot of heart, but got beat by a team that couldn't miss today. Good effort.

Seriously the Cuse is good and capable of doing this....once in a while.......many masons too but not today......weapons all working so big trouble......hung in there for 35 minutes despite their best.......not bad I'd say!

The guards don't defend the three pointer that well for Uconn. I know a Few shoots just seem to fin the hoop (banks shot in the first half) but the guards have to do a better job of getting over the screens to defend the three.. We did play well for 38 mins.

Sorry the guards didn't hurt us on D as much as the help in the middle and also TO and others falling on ballfakes and the baseline. Scoop Jardine from 24 feet 2 in a row, let him take that all day if it's me. Melo from 15...take it Fab it's yours............Joseph you need to find him when he's making them and they lost him twice once on a fastbreak when Lamb should've stepped back out and put a hand in his face. Too many easy layups through the middle without step ins from AD, TO and AO......that can't happen.............Other than that congrats to Cuse they made shots.......

I agree but to me the guards seem to allow easy penetration at times.

Yeah they take chances, overplay and create this a lot I agree. But our help D was always decent at least the shotblocking and now we need a better understanding in that department.

regardless of our recent struggles, we are defending national champs, defending conference champs, and the flag ship of the Big East conference. Nobody overlooks us, everybody hates us and everybody gives us their best game.

they come out pumped, and our extremely young team is learning to adjust. after today, I actually believe we are turning the corner

The way I see it...we could have played better defense, but they're just on another level. Syracuse is definitely deserving of the #2 ranking. Hopefully we can get them back in Gampel.
