A&M up 19 at the end of 3, torrid shooting
Syracuse another team looking like it should be unranked.

Syracuse had a great run last year, but just like with the men's team, opponents are starting to figure out how to play against the 2-3 zone and the Cuse doesn't really have the talent to beat good teams.

A&M now up 95-70 with 6:20 to play.

Syracuse relies on turning the opponent over to generate extra possessions that can support its high-volume 3-point shooting. A&M has turned the ball over just 12 times so far, same as Syracuse. But once you break their full-court pressure, Syracuse doesn't play the best half-court defense. Alexis Peterson is her usual amazing self with 28 points, but A&M's Dani Williams, an emerging star, has matched her.

Guess losing to Dayton yesterday was a wake up call. Should have had one when they lost to SMU and USC earlier this month.

It is a good win for A&M after their bad losses.

It's really not a bad looking team.
Blair may get them into a winning way
Mistake for folks to overlook them...less likely now, I suppose

Quite the wire to wire smackdown. So hard to figure out what to make of some teams this year. I could see A&M losing to Depaul, or something like that, but what does one make of them losing to SMU (great win for the AAC) or Dayton? Dayton usually is a good team, but they are 4-6 this year INCLUDING their win over aTm.
