a look at the mid season rookie rankings, Bria and Stef are making their mark:

Bria:

In the first installment of the rookie rankings, I mentioned that I think Bria will eventually be the best guard in the 2014 draft; her play since has backed that up. With Ivory Latta having a down year after being an all-star last year and the Mystics trading away a perennial All-Star in Crystal Langhorne on draft day, Hartley has arguably been the Mystics best and most consistent player.

Stef:
Dolson continues to get better with every outing. ..she has been very solid. Shooting 55% from the floor and fifth in blocks per minute, Dolson is probably one of the players making the most of limited minutes

They seem pretty much on the money.

Shoni has had to step away from having a big role in the Dream's fortunes lately since Celine Dumerc has arrived and that's not bad at all. They both have had to give way to the vet players that were already there. That's only fair to them.

Shoni can sit back and learn from the more experienced players. The team will also go far in the playoffs. How far is the question.

Celine Dumerc will eventually be the starter but Shoni is in it for the long run. In the meantime she provides a few brilliant moments in every game.

Comfortable place to be in.
