I was so fixed on Breanna's SI article I did not turn over this double issue 'til just now. Fashionable 50. The most fashionable people in sport. And boom, there Swin is on the cover in a great dress and killer heels and she is stunning indeed.

I tried the archive for the cover but my machine keeps freezing. "Damn Huskies, they're everywhere!" Funny thing ... that! :D

I've always moved back and forth between the fashion and sports worlds because when I was 14 years old, I had the opportunity to walk in NYFW as a young model before I went on to play basketball in college and now in the WNBA. Because I am 6 feet tall, I've always had to be creative and versatile with my clothes. I love to come to games dressed from head to toe, but I also work in TV as a commentator. So I can do that classic look or I can pull off an elegant dress for a black-tie event. Or I can be tomboy chic at a football or basketball game. I love that I can be this chameleon, and my fashion can really transcend the different avenues and areas I work in.

Swin is not in the picture. The archive does not have it. This is last week's cover. Just wanted to prove I know what I'm doing at least 10% of the time.

That's Dr. Swintayla Marie Cash.

Is it me or have we had a disproportionate number of very attractive women athletes come through UConn? I often forget that just as stunning as they are stellar athletes.
