Sweet 16 thread

I respect Bennett and Virginia, but man oh man they are a hard watch sometimes from a neutral perspective.
I'm just happy after that dumpster fire I get to keep watching them. Whole team still looks a bit shook from last year...except for clark, who obviously wasn't in school yet, he's been solid. Jerome could play himself into the first round of the draft

Just spent 45 minutes on FB Messenger with an ex co-worker who is a huge Michigan fan and is doing a two year assignment in Australia.
It's Friday afternoon and his weekend is shot. As an added bonus his parents flew over from the states, they are hick and haven't ever been outside US. They are basically the ugly American tourist and he has been putting out cultural faux pas fires all week.

If you're gonna be an ugly American tourist, no better place than Australia to do it. They don't have any culture either.

Badass stat of the year...

Clarke for Gonzaga...going into the Sweet 16 game, has averaged 17 points a game...

And blocked more shots (107) than he missed (105).

Fun game Auburn up 2 vs UNC at half

Meanwhile Katie Lou Samuelson is once again doing Houdini with the UConn women season on the line.

One of MSU's guys looks like that "girl you thicker than a bowl of oatmeal" dude. That's all I've got.

Collier has been good today. But she was abysmal against both miss st and nd

The officials are really letting these teams play there would have been fouls called on each of the last 6 possessions in this game in American conference play.

Coby White seems slower than Auburn's guard. This guy is a lottery pick?

This UNC game should ensure my worst bracket performance ever. Never had my NC pick go out before the EE.

The UNC game does not surprise me. Roy is the most overrated coach. I will believe that if he wins 10 championships. He has 1 speed. Outscore the opponent and play fast. Defense and and adjustments are optional.

That loooked terrible. Hate to see that. Brutal for the young man.

I remember our Auburn game last year, not a good memory.

The Sweathog is a good motivator. All he had to tell his team before that game was, "They put this game on CBS to see them (UConn)" or something like that. And we were done.

Feel terrible for the Auburn kid. Announcers still claiming him walking off on his own being a sign he is ok. Many guys walk off after tearing ACL. Poor kid.
