nice pace being played in this BYU vs Bama game so far, looks like a low budget NBA game
 
Alabama is the anti-St John’s. 3:40 left in the first half and they are 12-26 on threes. 26 out of their 31 shots are threes

Working so far. Up 8
 
Some seriously elite pushing and grabbing by both teams in this one. Elite shooting by Alabama
 
Sigh. Have to say I am unimpressed with Florida. They’ve been sped up by Maryland and look pretty ordinary. We had a great opportunity.

Absolutely. And look at the foul discrepancy. 10+ for Florida, 5 for MD in the half. The refs definitely were partial to Florida over UConn. Watching the game just increases my anger. We should be watching UConn right now against Maryland.

Ugh we should be playing right now, that 7 minute scoring draught doomed us as it did all year so could very well have been the case tonight. Florida is overrated, could they win it all still sure but everyone was taking Florida over the field. I hate to say it but Duke looks like the team you would take vs the field.

I am impressed Maryland is playing close with all that Willard drama. Tough mental on those kids.

Dook has looked really good. I like Scheyer, he is going to be a great coach.
 
Is there a way to root for Oats but not Alabama?

Florida is a very very good team. And there's a good chance we're watching 3 more games of them after this thinking about how we should have beat them

82 pts on 57 shots ==> That's the equivalent of shooting 72% from two.
 
Florida about to blow them out ....
 
Golden & Florida made some terrific adjustments at halftime. Running away with the game now in 2nd half, and killing MD in the paint both scoring and rim protection.

We all are lamenting this. And St John's was knocked out, too, which made the path easier.
