Their basketball programs exist to collect paychecks from big programs in order to fund the rest of their sports.

Half of them probably haven’t even played at home yet.

Texas Southern is 0-13 and the favorite to win the league.

I used to play in a men’s league and we had a guy who played for Mississippi Valley State on our team - he wasn’t exactly an impact player.

UConn-Texas Southern would absolutely be a death march.

Those kids just spent the first two months of the season on a road trip funding their entire athletic department. They’re straight heroes for enduring that schedule.

They have a better chance of making the NCAA tournament than we do.
