Never mind...I decided not to be lazy and googled it. So it's not a match but it was kind of one this year because Seattle and LA had the same record or whoever won would have the best record? Got it!

First time in league history that the shield was decided in the last game between the teams in first and second. Pretty dynamite scheduling, and it was like a playoff series would be with a home and away.

Going to the SKC-NYRB game tomorrow. Winner gets to avoid the wild card game. If the Royals win tonight then it will be interesting to see what the attendance is.

Yeah I need Philly to win for some insurance. Every team in the East has been turning it on lately except NY and KC. Whatever happens tonight, I expect they playoffs to end early for those teams.
