To try and lighten the mood, I am interested in knowing if others on this board are as superstitious as I, or if I’m just a head case. During the game, I did the following to try and change the mojo:

Changed t-shirt to be 2014 national championship shirt
Changed garden flag from St. Paddy’s Day to UCONN
Threw away UCONN gnome that coincided with the recent dark years
Moved placement of remotes and cell phones

In the end, nothing worked, but was worth the try. There was one other difference, my oldest son was not home to watch the game with me. I’m still not really talking to my wife because if it...

What did you do mid-game to change the mojo?

UConn t-shirt
UConn sweatshirt
UConn hat
Any brand of beer
Stand at least until first basket. Always.

Answer: Got another beer

I was disgusted but remained hopeful up until 6 minutes to go. I went outside and played Kan Jam with a buddy because we always make runs when I shut off the tv. Didn’t work.

I stop watching because it has worked so often from 2004 Dook game to 2014 run vs. Michigan State to even Kentucky (when i was there down stretch). Either go in other room or close eyes lol!

I ordered Texas Roadhouse Sat the same as I had for the Fla FF game in 2014 .
My mistake was getting pickup this time.
I never wear UConn gear on game day after some bad results.

I have a very strange superstition when it comes to us playing in the Final Four. I have come to the conclusion that I cannot be home for the start of our semi final game. In 1999 I was at a friends house for the Ohio St game. In 2004, I was picking up a pizza. In 2011 I was at a stag, but in 2009, I started the game at my house before going to my cousins engagement party...we lost. So in 2014, I made it a point to not be at home for the start of the Florida game, I watched the first half from a bar...we won. So, whenever we reach the Final Four again, I will not be home for the start of the semi final game, therefore guaranteeing a win and an eventual National Championship.

I have a 99 replica Rip Hamilton jersey and UConn has never lost when I wear it during a game. I had it on both nights at the trop, during the 04 semi final vs Duke, many beatdowns of the Cuse and was retired after the Kemba run.

Why don’t you wear it every game

I switched from a regular IPA to a triple IPA at halftime. For many reasons, although superstition was lower on the list.
Uhhh, are Rolling Rocks no longer a thing? Been drinking them for March UConn games since 2014 but this is one tradition I'll gladly give up

Not for me anymore. Ever my partner choked one down pre-game saying. "If they lose, it's not gonna be my fault." I still have 3 in the fridge. I thought affected the mojo. I don't think so now. The wings were good.
