Getting ready for the game

I did not here anything about DT's recovery from not feeling well in last game? Does anyone have the details of what happened?

Had tickets to the game but could not find parking. We've been to dozens of games and concerts at the casino and this was a first. Pricey tickets wasted.

I'm here. Taurasi was awful for most of the first half, but not nearly as bad as the halftime show. Picked it up at end though and has 9 points.

Fun game, lots of offense.

That's three straight losses for the Mercury, and I don't think their prospects look good at all going forward from here. Sancho Lyttle's unfortunate season-ending injury is a really big deal for them. Beyond their big three, the Mercury have the weakest supporting cast in the league, and Sancho is the best of that bunch. I certainly don't expect Sandy Brondello to pull any kind of rabbit out of a hat. In the four year's I've been watching her coach that team, I don't think I've ever seen her make so much as a single adjustment to the way they play.

OMG, there are mega-acres of parking! Where did you look? We arrived barely in time for the game and there was a bunch of spaces in the Indian Summer Garage. The Riverview Garage appeared to be full, however. If both were full when you arrived, there's still acres of parking in asphalt lots.

Well, that was quite a game. Sun desperately needed that win to stay in the hunt. When DT chucked in a couple 3s off the glass I figured destiny was not on our side.

The parity in the WNBA this year has produced some really great games and put the playoff picture very much in doubt. Teams that surged at the start have faltered at times (LA, CT, PHO), teams that struggled are gaining momentum (LV, DAL ATL), talent-laden Seattle has finally gotten it together under veteran coach Dan Hughes and sits on top of the league.

The unfortunate compressed schedule means that teams having a great (or poor) 2 week stretch can make serious moves up and down the standings.

It's not LA and MIN followed by everyone else anymore.

A very entertaining game that the CT Sun showed real courage when that 12 point lead evaporated they didn't fold but came back for the win!
It is quite evident to everyone now that Alyssa Thomas is the MVP on the Sun! Everything resolves around her on offense and defense! Also Courtney Williams is a big time player that's only going to get better!
