HuskyNan edit: The time has been changed to 7:30 p.m. Sunday
The schedule has us playing Providence on January 30 at 11:00 A.M.
The only reason I can think of for that starting time is that Sunday has both the
AFC and NFC conference championship games. One at 3...the other at 6:30.
Perhaps the powers that be want fans in attendance to have time to get home to watch the football...
figuring a PM start might dwindle the crowd.
Any other reasons?
BTW: On Super Bowl Sunday...February 13...UConn does play Marquette at 2:30...
time enough to enjoy the game and get home for the SB around 6:30.
BTW#2: it was a great football weekend with the Sunday night KC/Buffalo game
a classic....the back and forth in the last few minutes was tremendous.
