Notice the other 3 games in UConn's time slot will be on ESPN2/3 which means whip-around coverage where if a game is a blowout early and there is another game they cut away. UConn has been a victim of this up until last year where you'd see the first 5-10 minutes of the first half which would be a blowout against a 16 seed, and then cut away to a more competitive game. The UConn games now get their own exclusive time slot on the main ESPN station. This will be the 13th exclusive nationally broadcast UConn WCBB game this year. Even though the AAC doesn't provide much benefit to UConn, as long as they keep getting the kind of coverage they get, they will be just fine. The ACC and SEC coaches can recruit all they want against UConn's conference, but there are very few programs that get nearly half of their games broadcast to every TV set in America.
