Players get tired of his means/methods of communication. Let's just leave it at that.

Katie had wanted to go home for several years. And why did Nykesha retire from the WNBA in her prime? And why did Taj leave?

Lots of questions, one similar answer.

Unlike Cam, I don't have any inside information on the communication problems between Thibault and former or current players. But I've said before that I don't like his body language on the sidelines, particularly when things are going badly on the court. All teams need a kick in the pants from time to time. But when things are going badly and the team is on the verge of losing its confidence, the coach needs to remain calm, confident and reassuring. Thibault doesn't do that and, as is typically the case, a team reflects the personality of its coach.

Thibault is an excellent judge of talent and seems to be a pretty good Xs and Os coach. The Sun lost to a better team. I still think the future is bright for the Sun (as it should be).
