What I mean is that they were playing hard, they didn't take the night off. The energy was there, they were just outplayed plain and simple.

Post defense wasn't up to snuff. That's an effort thing, along with the lack of rebounding. Of course, I'm harder on my team than most. I'm sure Reeve will be even harder than me.

Sensational game! Both teams played at a such high level, and shot the ball really well. The Sun have cleaned up a lot of the sloppiness they were exhibiting early in the season, and do they ever have a talented roster. Their coach has done a great job of getting them to play for one another. And honestly, I think the Lynx are finally starting to show their age a little. They just seemed gassed in the later stages of the forth quarter. Meanwhile, the Sun were still fresh, stealing the ball and running the floor for layups to put the game away. And I feel like they have room to get even better!

This game is what makes SPORTS so special! An unbelievable scenario where going in the Sun should never had a shot at staying close not only winning the game! Pregame you compare each of the 5 starters for each team and not one match-up was in the Sun's favor! But they never stopped hustling and rising to the challenge throughout the entire game. The Lynx had very few uncontested shots and made some uncharacteristic turn-overs and the Sun were off to the races!
If you let the underdog hang around they gain confidence then anything can happen in end-of-game situations.

The Sun outplayed and outrebounded Minnesota. They looked good. Alyssa Thomas has improved, and Jasmine played well too. Courtney was hard to stop. Both Banham and Jones scored easily. Cheryl has to be upset about her defense.
