Anyone see a similarity between the end of the NY/Indy game and the end of the infamous DePaul/UConn game? Seems to me the similarities between Catch and Maya were never so obvious.

I see the similarity but I wouldn't have called it "infamous."

NY lost the game when they failed to make free throws and a basket after an intentional foul with about 2 minutes left. Score was 71-70 with the Fever leading Carson gets fouled on a break away and NY is awarded two free throws and the ball. Essence misses both free throws and then NY doesn't score a basket. Instead of being up 3 or 4 points, Fever get the ball back leading by one. IMHO that's when the game was lost.
