Summer is almost over for UConn students and athletes.

And for the second summer in a row it has been a drama free. Not to jinx anything --but the end of the annual student/athlete in trouble reports are something to feel good about. Hurley, Mora et al have their programs under control. The adults are back in charge.

It's really nice to see. Our student athletes have been representing the university very well both at home and abroad. It's the coaches who deserve the pats on the back. It tough, almost impossible, to control hundreds of young men and women. So thanks across the board from field hockey to football, baseball to track, it is very much appreciated. Go Huskies.
