We think of Crystal as a 1:1 replacement for Mo, and certainly that's intended. But there are differences: Mo is faster, and Crystal stronger. Mo's blinding speed worked against her until she learned to use it like gears. Crystal's jumper seems more advanced at this stage. So, it's not impossible that Crystal will get more playing time earlier than did Mo but maybe not point guard right away. Early in the season--where, ironically, the schedule is toughest--point might go to Kia or Saniya.
UcMiami's great reflections on Natalie and post-play is key: if Natalie can earn a competitive 25 minutes/game and the offense is thus somewhat rebuilt, it adds massively to a team that might already start Kia, Lou, Gabbie, and Napheesa.
UConn next year has a number of moving parts and the best combinations aren't clear yet. It's a work in progress: a couple of early season losses against top teams and/or a couple of very ugly wins. But come March, look out.
