Suggestion for USA Women's Basketball after your mini camp....

Below is the roster from USA BB mini camp. Several players listed could not be there, but this is one impressive group. Imagine having to reduce this group to one team..!! I vote we send two teams to all future tournaments. Seriously, we could say one is from American Virgin Islands or Guam.....I bet Phil and Doggy could come up w/ a loop hole....

I would swap Augustus for Cappie. Both can create and get to the rim but Augustus can--especially in short stretches when she's fresh--play really excellent D, even on elite guards and wings.

It might be easier than that, although there must be something I'm missing. Puerto Rico sends a team, why not have one of the team represent them?

Hey - we seem to be a fairly divided nation as it is so why not just have a blue state team and a red state team - The UK in international soccer and rugby splits itself into Wales, Scotland, England, N. Ireland - we are a lot larger in population and land mass, Fiba ought to allow us to split into at least two groups.
