'Proud and honored' Bird sees Storm unveil statue

In a ceremony before Seattle hosted the Phoenix Mercury on Sunday, legendary former Storm guard Sue Bird, who led the franchise to four WNBA championships, became the first WNBA player honored by her team with a statue outside of Climate Pledge Arena.

It seems like far too often attempts at bronze statues of people end up being cringe worthy. I have to say that Sue's statue may be the best I've seen.
