With regards to the shoes, "Kobes" are a line of Nike shoe. The joke was that Diggins hopes the "Kobes" make her play like Kobe.

I guess it's kind of gauche to cite your own stats, but the tag line for the video is "WNBA superstars Sue Bird, Skylar Diggins and Elena Delle Donne discuss what traits help separate their games from the rest of the league." It's hard to be humble when the question is basically "What makes you so great?"

Elena is argueably the best payer in the league right now (barring the Lymes setbacks). She willed the Sky into the WNBA Championship series (even though she was a shadow of herself when healthy).
