Washington might be the best team in the league right now.Greatest PG of all time. Now 6,000 points, and #8 on all time scoring list... and only about 5 points away from #7 Lauren Jackson

Excellent point, but it does not diminish Sue's accomplishment at all. Jackson NEVER averaged more than 2 assists per game her entire career. In fact, it's 1.4 APG. Jackson's only real job on offense was to score. It's what she was great at. Bird has to direct the entire offense. She is the career leader in assists for the league. The fact that she also is up to #7 now in scoring is phenomenal. There's something to be said for longevity. LJ played 10 full seasons for the Storm and very limited number of games her last 2 years. Bird is in year 16 of her career.

Next up: Lisa Leslie.Bird just passed Jackson a moment ago to become the all time leader in scoring for the Storm.
KML shot 2-3 from the arc and is over .500 for the season. Marksman extraordinaire!Don't see a game thread, but Seattle beat Washington 97-91 today to move all alone into first place in the standings. Rode a big 3rd quarter (31-20) to the win. Stewie led the way w/ 25 points and 10 boards. Bird hasn't been scoring much most of the season but had 21 today following 18 in the previous outing. KML and Langhorne both in double figures off the bench. EDD led everybody in scoring w/ 29. Washington had all 5 starters in double figures compared to only 3 for Seattle, but the Mystics got almost no production off the bench.

It is interesting looking at the WNBA season - it is so short and quite unbalanced - at this point in time teams have played between 18 and 20 games so the number of games is pretty close, but the number of home games vs road games varies between Seattle with 12 home games and Connecticut with only 6. Road games vary between NY, Washington, and Seattle each with 8, and Connecticut with 13. Only three teams have winning road records (Seattle, Phoenix, and Washington) while only two have a losing home record (NY and Indiana.) Woeful Indiana has a better road record (1-8 vs 1-9) while Phoenix is the only other team with a better road than home record (9-3 vs 5-3) With that unbalanced H/R scheduling teams like CT should improve as the imbalance is corrected as the season continues - they will play 7 more home games than road games from here to the end of the season.Seattle?
Yep but those extra years are, in large part, due to her completely restructuring her fitness and nutrition regimes. Props to Sue for doing that. (She's very proud of it.)There's something to be said for longevity. LJ played 10 full seasons for the Storm and very limited number of games her last 2 years. Bird is in year 16 of her career.
Lauren put up a lot of points at a very rapid pace, but I don't believe she has scored for Seattle at all in 2018.
I think so, Mate!Or anyone else for that matter. Maybe sitting on a beach somewhere enjoying the sun.
