its really time to get a true analyst. MP hasn’t played in 30 yrs, hasn’t done but 2 National ( if u call nesn) tv calls. Let’s get someone that doesn’t Barrell laugh every 10 minutes and offers NO analyst. Come on SNY sign Sue Bird.

Ok, I get your “limitations on Meg”, I don’t agree but your suggesting Sue is utterly ridiculous as her games are dominated by incessant babble, often ignoring action on the floor. I get she’s a UConn legend but to think she’s a top notch analyst, she is not, more like a work in progress, at best.

I happen to like Meg and Eric’s chemistry. To suggest she’s too old is really absurd. Don’t confuse Meg with Andy Landers or Nell Fortin!

Sue Bird has some great insights, but sometimes it's difficult to hear what she is saying. Kind of like she is making "insider" remarks.

Diagree completely. Meg does just fine. Birdy has potential as a broadcaster, but it is clearly unrealized potential at this point.

Completely disagree. Sue isn't nearly as good as Meg. Meg has great chemistry with Eric. I wouldn't trade them with anyone.

Simply said - Bird is awful. Chatty Cathy with a Milly Meek voice. That might change but so far my vote is she might want to look for something different post WNBA.

Meg is fine but I really enjoy Sue as a special treat. However, I realize it is a completely personal issue. 1000 people with 1000 opinions. Frankly these announcer threads really make me chuckle (respectfully ) since I would watch and enjoy a Uconn game irregardless of who is announcing.
