Storrs Central Michigan Postgame Media Availability

Well. I recently was criticized for saying that players weren't generally worth listening to. Now Geno said that Sarah and Azzi were the most boring interviewees in the world. He's mistaken; they're like most of the rest. Skip their comments.
I couldn't wait for Geno's part of the presser because I really wondered what he saw happening. He gave Michigan credit, which was due, but had no real explanation for the rest of our team. One of my questions for him is why the team kept feeding Sarah in quarter 4 when she was surrounded by at least 4 players and could barely move. Michigan was daring the Huskies to score from the perimeter, and when the ball kept appearing in KK's hands, I was agonizing. Thank heaven for Azzi, who, for all her points, didn't really look like herself; she could have scored 50. And Swords is beyond belief . . .
If we had chosen to rush the basket at the end, we might have picked up extra points, especially with the best free throw shooter in the universe. Even if KK had chosen to run inside it would have been an improvement over having her standing outside the perimeter. Then, of course, she isn't a sure bet at the foul line, so we can safely say that we have only one guard who can reliably hit treys, and that's not good.
4 points in a quarter? No writing that off.

It's pretty evident that Azzi is not 100% right now. She still has that nagging little cough thing going on, so what she produced last night was very special. I saw some things from Sarah that I'd not seen prior. From a body language perspective, she was visibly frustrated a few times and her facial expressions and hand gestures were noticeable. Maybe she was not feeling 100% either
