Sparks at Liberty, 7:00p May 30 on ESPN2
Between Q3 & Q4 Swin interviews Laimbeer. She keeps on asking more questions and he is getting impatient and annoyed. Then Swin says, "Kiah Stokes put on a few pounds." He says, "She's working on it but she's not there yet", and walks off (Kiah has logged 17 minutes half-way thru Q4).
Tina Charles is a beast. She needs to get more attention/media etc. Her game is so well rounded and deadly.
I don't know what is going on with KiahS. It seems like she just doesn't want to score. There was a few times in the game that she had a wide open jumper that she passed up. The defense was almost daring her to shoot. She should make them pay for it every time.
With injuries and players going overseas, Bria should have plenty of playing time and an opportunity to shine. I hope that she starts producing in high numbers. She has had a couple of good games this season where she looked really good. She has the game. She will put it all together soon.
Bill Lambeer resigns Lindsay Allen.
Liberty bring back Allen weeks after cutting her
Liberty definitely need help at the point guard position. In my opinion Bria never really
improved her game or shooting to be a top guard in the WNBA. I hope she proves me wrong but I dont see it and it is not only with the Liberty that she has been average at best but throughout her years with the Mystics as well.
Unfortunately, I see alot of Bria's game in Kia Nurse so I hope the limitations that Bria has demonstrated will not
be repeated with Kia. Defense is not enough in the WNBA. Doubly true for Kia Stokes. You have to develop confidence and an offensive mindset.
Tina Charles is just phenomenal -- on and off the court.
Can someone help me out with this question. With the NYL bringing in L. Allen to replace Prince during her Russian basketball commitments, what if Allen ends up playing better than a current player? Could they keep Allen and waive another player to make room for her on the roster, or does the player waived after a missing player returns have to be the replacement?

What a difference a few days makeBria has not looked good at all. But in seeing others players who have come back after having a child, it takes two seasons to regain your skills and stamina. Kiah came in out of shape , which surprised me. Have no clue why she is not the beast on the defensive side like last year. Kiah is not there mentally or physically. Tina has been playing really great, but she needs more help.
Indeed!!!!!!!!What a difference a few days make
