With all the offensive struggles until yesterday when the defense struggled, with the lack of a running game the last few games until yesterday, with below average special teams play most of the year, with a new system and coaching staff and with all the complaints (understandably with a 2-3 record), we have been ahead in the 4th quarter in all 3 losses and "could" be 5-0. You can question some coaching decisions this year, especially yesterday with the lack of adjustments on the defensive side in defending the pass. But with all the negative talk and fire PP posts, the big east season has not started so lets not over-react yet. We have winnable home games against Syracuse, Rutgers and Louisville and still think we are capable of pulling a couple road upsets. We all knew that the team had ? marks at QB and RB but with yesterday's offensive performance, you have to feel a little more confident about us moving the chains. WM is a solid MAC team who almost beat #24 Illinois on the road and has a legit QB who I've heard is a pro prospect. We, hopefully, get BWW back in 2 weeks and if we can get the defense at fully strength and continue our improvement on offense, this season can still be a success.
