and hopefully we see some large steps forward. But, I'm starting to question whether Diaco can turn the ship. Same mistakes week over week, and execution and play shows nominal improvement. I assume he can keep the team together to beat Tulane which will yield us a 4 win season. I also think we can match well against Temple and maybe can pull an upset. Houston will eat this team for lunch with their style of play and our soft zone cover defense. Come next year, Diaco is out of Mulligans and there better be some substantial improvement.

I think we are in more trouble than people care to admit. I watch a lot of college football and it feels like I am watching a different sport than what we are playing. Teams, even mid level to bad ones, are simply playing the game at a much faster rate of speed and high scoring level.

This is our 5 straight losing season. It's not gonna be easy to turn the tide the way several things are going for us.

Our offense has looked like its playing in mud all year- really slow and sloppy.

I think Diaco is doing a great job building the program. The only head scratcher is the in-game decisions. He's still young, and those things improve with time. They don't have a ton of options on what they can run given our current level of players. It will get better. We're almost all sophomore's, and the young kids are often outplaying our upper classmen. Just think about what that means in terms of development.

Agree. Don't you remember the posts from the Mizzou game on the Mizzou board ..... "We play old man football"...... and without the personnel to execute old men football-the coaching staff needs to attend continuing education classes and clinics. Embarrassing. IMO-Directly responsible for 2 losses in Mizzou and USF, catastrophic results in 3 other losses.
